Quite possibly the best Chibber gig ever!
We've probably played better, to bigger audiences, at more comfortable venues for more money but I don't think we've ever played to a more positive group of people. Certainly we've never had more people singing. Rousing applause after each song and a real appreciation for songs that have never been played at this venue before have ensured a special place in the Chibber heart for the Swan.
It was Sara's birthday (Happy birthday to you) and a welcome home celebration for one of the regulars who had been away in the Southern hemisphere for a while probably helped but, if this is the kind of response Chibber can expect from this pub in the middle of somewhere, then we can't wait to come back.
