Whenever we play a venue and the response is good, it's tempting to imagine that the next time we play there we might be a little disappointed. How wrong can you be?
Tonight we decided we'd take the lights and smoke machine (see foggy pics) as our last couple of gigs at the Duke have been so great we wanted to put on a bit more of a show. The smoke machine seemed to either work too well or not at all but the audience were generous as ever with great applause and not a little dancing.
Special thanks again to Andy for showing the way to the dance-floor on such an incredibly hot night and to Mark and Mandy for such a fine welcome. We genuinely wish you both all the best.
