The Duke, Bacton

I'm beginning to think that this place has a character of its own. Lots of people I didn't recognise turned up (could be premature senility on my part [not that premature actually]). Also several friends like Cat and Mick, Carole and Carol, Stewart, Amy and family as well as Steve Flowerdew and friend (for whom we played a Pink Floyd song). We were asked to play the old Proclaimers song tonight about walking 1000 miles. We'd never played it before, we didn't have music so we guessed it - it went OK funnily enough.

Brilliant responses all night long with a couple of genuine encores at the end.

Whenever we say goodnight to Mark and the staff at the Duke, I always end up looking forward to coming back again - we all do!

PS - Lovely ham sarnies by the way.

My boss is in there somewhere

The coke glass is the only thing even remotely in focus.
The lady with her hands in the air is the 1000 miles requestee.
